Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By signing up for or using YRG Commerce ("Platform"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. We may update these terms from time to time and will notify you of material changes.

2. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate, complete information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must be at least 18 years old to create a merchant account
• One person or legal entity may not maintain more than one free trial account

3. Trial Period & Billing

• New accounts receive a 30-day free trial with no credit card required
• After the trial, continued use requires a paid subscription
• Subscriptions are billed monthly via Razorpay
• Failed payments trigger a 7-day grace period before account suspension
• Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis within 7 days of billing
• You may cancel your subscription at any time from Admin → Settings → Billing

4. Acceptable Use

You may not use the Platform to:

• Sell illegal goods or services (weapons, drugs, counterfeit items)
• Infringe third-party intellectual property rights
• Send unsolicited bulk emails (spam)
• Engage in fraudulent transactions or chargebacks abuse
• Attempt to reverse engineer or exploit platform vulnerabilities
• Resell platform access without written permission

Violation of these terms may result in immediate account suspension without refund.

5. Platform Limits

Each plan has limits on products, monthly orders, and storage. Exceeding these limits may result in temporary feature restrictions until the next billing cycle or a plan upgrade. Limits are clearly displayed on the Pricing page and in your Admin Dashboard.

6. Data Ownership

You retain ownership of all your store data (products, orders, customers, files). We do not claim any rights to your business data. You may export your data at any time. Upon account deletion, your data is soft-deleted for 30 days (recoverable) and then permanently erased.

7. Service Availability

We aim for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance via platform announcements. We are not liable for losses resulting from downtime or data loss beyond our reasonable control.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, YRG Commerce is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Tamil Nadu, India.
